Steenberg offers an idyllic and romantic venue to begin the next exciting chapter of your life. Just 30 minutes from the city centre of Cape Town, Steenberg is perfectly positioned for ease of travel for all your guests. An intimate and private ceremony space on the lush lawns in front of the original Manor House will set the tone for a day of joyful celebration.

Every wedding is different, and we have a variety of beautiful ceremony spaces at Steenberg – each with their own unique ambience and picturesque backdrop to suit your vision.

The Manor Lawn, situated in front of our historic Manor house, provides an elegant setting for weddings with up to 100 guests, surrounded by lush lawns and heritage architecture. For gatherings of up to 40 guests, the Villa Lawn offers atmosphere and intimacy near our heritage Villa buildings.

Reception & celebrations

Celebrate the start of new beginnings with a delicious meal at Tryn for your reception.

We currently offer reception space to seat up to 50 guests, while 100 guests can be accommodated as a standing canapé-style reception.

Host a pre- or post-wedding soirée at the Pool House with snacks and bubbly, available in the early evening from 17:00 – 19:00. Our Pool House area is also available for bridal party manicures and pedicures.

A private dining experience ideal for intimate gatherings.

Accommodating up to 40 guests for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Exclusive use requires a minimum spend of R8,000 for breakfast, R14,000 for lunch, and R20,000 for dinner. With its intimate setting and impeccable service, the Cuvée Room is perfect for corporate gatherings, special celebrations, or private events.

Ideal for small gatherings.

The Ruby Room at Tryn offers an intimate setting for private functions, hosting up to 18 guests for lunch and dinner. Exclusive reservations require a minimum spend of R4,000 for breakfast, R8,000 for lunch, and R10,000 for dinner.

Book the Terroir Terrace at Bistro Sixteen82

Exclusively yours for meetings or milestones

Located on the first floor of BistroSixteen82, our private function space opens onto a terrace offering stunning views of the mountains and gardens, along with a cozy fireplace for chilly winter evenings. Available on Monday to Thursday evenings, exclusive use of the venue requires a minimum spend of R60,000, excluding a 12% service charge.

The Cuvée Room
Cool and spacious but featuring two warm fireplaces for winter, and cozy low-seating areas for separate discussions. Accommodating up to 28 guests.

The Ruby Room
For smaller groups of 12 or less, the Ruby Room offers four semi-private booths perfectly-suited to intimate breakaway sessions.

Conference Offering
With complimentary WiFi, notepads and pens, a flipchart, and the use of a 65-inch Samsung Smart TV, all needs are covered for team building or a refreshing break. Elevate your gathering with a 2-course lunch at Tryn or engage in a variety of lawn games outside.

The Terroir Terrace
The Terroir Terrace offers stunning views and a delicious 2-course lunch for up to 18 guests. The ideal space for a full or half day of productive sessions.

Conference Offering
State- of-the-art conference amenities including a dedicated room, projector, screen, flipchart, Wi-Fi, and conference essentials. The day is punctuated coffee and pastries start your day before mid-morning tea, coffee, and fruit skewer, a sumptuous 2-course lunch from BistroSixteen82’s culinary team and tea, coffee, and biscuits in the afternoon.
