This summer, the lawns of Steenberg Farm come alive with two special evenings beneath the stars. Gather friends and family for Steenberg Comedy Night in November, followed by the return of a festive favourite, Christmas Carols with the SHOUT Big Band, in December.

Settle in for an evening of standout South African comedy featuring Yaseen Barnes, Dalin Oliver, KG Mokgadi and Waseem Fredericks. Expect quick wit, sharp satire, relatable storytelling and music-infused comedy in the beautiful surrounds of Steenberg Farm.
Guests can choose between:
- Comedy Show Only: R360 per person
- Comedy Show & Alfresco Picnic Box: R1 400 for two
- Tryn Oak Terrace: R1 200 per person, including the show and a three-course dinner

Lawn guests are welcome to bring picnic blankets or chairs, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Steenberg Christmas Carols with the SHOUT Big Band

Welcome the festive season with two magical evenings of live music, delicious food and shared celebration.
The spectacular 20-piece SHOUT Big Band brings together some of Cape Town’s finest musicians and vocalists for a programme spanning much-loved Christmas classics, timeless jazz and contemporary favourites.
Lounge on the Lawn
- Adults: R505 per person, including a glass of Steenberg wine
- Children aged 2–11: R255, including a Santa hat and fruit juice

Dine on Tryn’s Oak Terrace
- Adults: R1 355 per person, including a three-course dinner

Lawn guests can also pre-order an Alfresco Picnic Box for R960, serving two, with additional food and beverages available to purchase on the evening.
This year’s Carols will also support the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind and True North NPO, with representatives from both organisations joining us on the evenings.
Summer Evenings at Steenberg
Whether you’re joining us for laughter with friends in November or festive celebrations with family in December, these evenings are an opportunity to slow down, gather together and enjoy the magic of summer at Steenberg.
Both events take place outdoors with complimentary secure parking. We recommend bringing warm layers for later in the evening. Lawn seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
