Are you passionate about wine, hospitality, and creating unforgettable experiences for guests? Steenberg Winery, one of South Africa’s premier wine estates, is looking for a Tasting Room Ambassador to join our dedicated team and help deliver exceptional service in our beautiful tasting room.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome and Engage: Greet visitors with warmth and enthusiasm, guiding them through an immersive wine-tasting experience that showcases the best of Steenberg’s wines.
• Educate and Inspire: Share your knowledge of Steenberg’s history, winemaking process, and wine range, ensuring each guest leaves with a deeper appreciation for our wines.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide personalized attention to guests, anticipating their needs and delivering a high standard of service that exceeds expectations.
• Host Tasting Experiences: Lead wine tastings, private events, and tours, offering expert guidance while fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
• Sales & Upselling: Promote and sell Steenberg wines, wine club memberships, and merchandise, helping to enhance the guest experience while achieving sales goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Passion for Wine: A genuine enthusiasm for wine, especially Steenberg’s rich heritage and diverse wine portfolio.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with visitors from all walks of life.
• Experience in Hospitality: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, but not essential.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, ensuring smooth operations in a busy tasting room environment.
• Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and during special events.
