Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing and executing dishes to the highest standard.
  • Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen during service.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
  • Support stock control by efficiently receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients.
  • Contribute to menu creativity and seasonal updates with fresh ideas.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in an upscale dining environment.
  • A culinary qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
