Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing and executing dishes to the highest standard.
- Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen during service.
- Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Support stock control by efficiently receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients.
- Contribute to menu creativity and seasonal updates with fresh ideas.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in an upscale dining environment.
- A culinary qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
