Job Description:

As a Bartender at Tryn Restaurant, you will be the face of our bar, providing an exceptional drinking experience for our guests. Your creativity, passion for mixology, and dedication to excellent service will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and inventory management.
• Engage with guests to offer recommendations and answer any questions regarding the drink menu.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in the creation of new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-end restaurant or bar.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to engage and delight guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
