We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our patrons have come to expect.

Job Description: As the Assistant Front of House Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant’s front-of-house activities. You will work closely with the Front of House Manager to deliver exceptional service, manage staff, and enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and reception areas.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Assist in managing reservations and seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to enhance restaurant visibility and patronage.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front of House Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Front of House Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A hospitality management diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
