Role Overview

Steenberg Vineyards is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner – Tasting Room to ensure the tasting room, bathrooms, and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role supports exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness, teamwork, and a positive service attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Hygiene

• Clean and maintain tasting room, bathrooms, lounge, kitchen sink, and surrounding areas daily
• Replenish consumables (toilet paper, soap, sanitiser)
• Sweep, vacuum, wash floors, dust surfaces, and clean counters
• Maintain cleanliness of storerooms and merchandise displays

Supporting Cellar Door Operations

• Greet and assist guests as needed
• Wash, dry, and pack wine glasses
• Clean tables, spittoons, price lists, and counters
• Assist with folding boxes, packing, and carrying wine boxes
• Help maintain fires, displays, and tasting room presentation

General Duties

• Monitor cleaning and chemical stock levels and report shortages
• Report breakages and maintenance issues to management
• Assist with additional tasks as required

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 6 months experience in hospitality or cleaning

We are looking for a warm, professional, and service driven Spa Host to welcome guests and ensure they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. This is a 3 month seasonal position for the busy summer period. Spa therapy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all spa guests with warmth and professionalism
• Provide guided tours of the spa and facilities
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures and locker allocations
• Ensure refreshment areas are stocked and lounge areas are neat and welcoming
