An Evening of Music, Food & Wine
On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, guests are invited to gather on the lawns of Tryn for an enchanting evening under the stars. The soirée features an exclusive live performance by acclaimed soprano Lynelle Kenned and renowned pianist Stefan Lombard – a world-class duo whose artistry spans continents.
Their musical journey began on Cape Town Opera’s UK tour of Showboat in 2014 and has since taken them to international stages from Cape Town to Cappadocia. For this special Steenberg performance, they present an eclectic programme that moves seamlessly from Mozart to Musicals, Pop to Puccini – a repertoire designed to delight every listener.

True to Steenberg’s spirit of relaxed luxury, the evening blends the artistry of music with the pleasures of fine food and wine. Guests can choose between two distinct dining experiences:
Lawn Seating:
- Concert only: R330 per person
- Concert + Picnic Box (for 2): R1 300 per couple
- Additional Picnic Box: R875 per box (serves 2)
Enjoy a curated al fresco picnic box by Chef Kerry Kilpin, filled with seasonal flavours perfect for sharing on the lawns, paired beautifully with Steenberg’s award-winning wines, available for purchase from the Tasting Room. (Please note: no outside food or beverages allowed.)

Dine under the ancient oaks beside Tryn, where a three-course menu crafted by Chef Kerry Kilpin transforms the evening into a refined culinary experience.

Guests are welcome from 17:00, with the concert beginning at 18:30. As twilight fades to starlight, the lawns come alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and the clinking of glasses – a celebration of summer in its most elegant form.
