This Women’s Month, Steenberg invites you to an evening of reflection and celebration set in the elegant surrounds of Bistro Sixteen82. Held on Thursday, 28 August, the event brings together the tales and experiences of women who continue to carry strength with composure, purpose and care.
There are few places better suited to meaningful conversation than a beautifully laid table, and few occasions as fitting as Women’s Month to pause and honour the resilience it takes to navigate life’s demands with grace.
This intimate gathering offers a moment to acknowledge that fortitude – through inspiring stories, delicious dishes and expressive wines from our cellar, all in a beautiful setting designed for connection.
On The Evening
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Steenberg Cap Classique before sitting down to a menu of sharing plates, hearty mains and decadent desserts – each thoughtfully served with wines from our cellar. As the evening unfolds, an inspiring talk will offer space for reflection and insight.
Our keynote speaker, Professor Blanche Cupido, is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Cape Town and a leader in the field of adult congenital heart disease. With a career spanning clinical leadership, research and education, she brings a perspective shaped by years of navigating high-performance environments with heart, clarity and purpose.
Executive Chef Kerry Kilpin will introduce her specially curated menu. Monique Lagorie, Spa Manager at Steenberg, will touch on balance and practical wellness – before surprising one lucky guest.
